Crocheting Kiki the Chick from The Woobles’ Free Pattern

Woobles chick amigurumi plushie made from Premier Parfait Chunky chenille yarn

The Woobles has a free crochet pattern for Kiki the Chick available on their website, and I decided to try it out with plush yarn! Kiki was actually the very first Woobles project I ever made, so this was also a fun chance to revisit the pattern and compare my new chick with the one I crocheted when I was first learning.

For my new Kiki, I swapped the usual Woobles Easy Peasy Yarn for Premier Parfait Chunky chenille yarn*, making her much bigger and extra squishy. Working the pattern with chenille yarn definitely came with a few challenges, though! Follow along in the video below as I crochet Kiki from beginning to end using the free pattern. 🐥
