Join me as I talk through my latest crochet experiment: my attempt at “plushifying” a Pica Pau amigurumi pattern that’s designed for thinner cotton yarn. I used Premier Parfait Chunky chenille yarn, which is a plush size 6 super bulky weight yarn, and used it to crochet Victor Frog from the Animal Friends of Pica Pau Volume 1.
I talk through my entire process of making the pattern including all of the tricky bits, and I show off my finished froggy in detail (polka dot underwear and all! 🙈). We take a look at his size, and compare him to some other Pica Pau animals I’ve made using the recommended yarn size. Which style do you like best?
