Meet Kiki the Chick, made from a Woobles learn-to-crochet kit!

This was my very first crochet project, and The Woobles did a great job teaching me. The kit comes with everything you need, and there are super detailed instruction videos.

I had a little bit of trouble at first getting the crochet hook cleanly through the end of the single crochet stitches — I think it was getting a bit snagged on the yarn below it — but I eventually got the hang of it.

My tension started a bit looser and got marginally tighter as I went, so that’s something I want to try to improve for my next project. I also don’t think I stuffed it quite enough.

Loving crochet and amigurumi so far, and I’m so excited to be starting on this learning to crochet journey. 🧶🐣🌈✨
